Ipé has become a very popular wood option for decking. Ipé
is some of the finest quality wood available. You need to see this material.

naturally resistant to rot and decay
extremely dense and tight grained
8 times harder than California Redwood
5 times harder than pressure treated lumber
has a life expectancy of 25-30 years
does not require a preservative treatment
is a deep, rich brown, sometimes with red and amber tones, and will
fade to a gray color
is being used on the Atlantic City boardwalk
has an 'A' rating for fire resistance from the Fire Protection Association
available in 1" and 5/4" thickness boards
Trex
Trex easy care decking's

Trex:
Is made from recycled plastic and hardwood waste.
Has no grain direction or knots.

Can be cut, drilled, screwed, routed and sanded just as you would
with regular wood.

Johnson Lumber stocks a full line of Trex decking in the colors Winchester
Gray, Madeira and Saddle. Winchester Gray starts out in varying shades
of dark gray and weathers to a uniform deep rich gray hue when exposed
to sunlight and water. Madeira is a dark reddish color and is designed
to fade very little when exposed to the elements. Saddle is a rich
brown and weathers very little over time.
Natural and Woodland Brown are also available on a special order basis.
Trex is available in 1x, 5/4, 2 x 2, 2 x 4, 2 x 6, 2 x 8, and some
special order custom pieces such as 2 x 10, 3 x 6, 4 x 4, 4 x 6, and
6 x 6.
Normal maintenance consists of an occasional wash with a deck cleaner
and keeping the gaps clear of debris.

TimberTech
TimberTech
composite decking is available in a NEW Twin Finish 5/4 Plank and in
an exclusive Tongue-and-Groove Plank design. We stock both in the cedar,
redwood and grey colors and in 12', 16' and 20' lengths. Because TimberTech
uses ultraviolet protection additives to reduce the harmful fading effects
of the sun, fading is minimized between your new and a weathered TimberTech
deck. You will never need to seal, stain or paint this product
The Twin Finish 5/4 Plank features two surface textures. A traditional
brushed surface is on one side and a wood grain surface is on the other.
This plank installs like traditional wood planks and is made of the
highest quality material in the industry.
Tongue-and-groove Plank decking doesn't look like traditional
decking. Each plank is self-spacing for easy installation. You get a
finished product with no exposed fasteners. Its integrated drain holes
allow water to flow off the deck freely. TimberTech's slip resistance
is great for pools and hot tubs.
Environmentally friendly TimberTech is made from recycled wood and
virgin polymers. This makes TimberTech exceptionally moisture-resistant
so it won't split, splinter, decay, rot or warp, and it resists termites.

We carry the WeatherBest
Premium decking. It's easy to see why WeatherBest decks are easily mistaken
for the real thing. All the look, feel and beauty of natural wood, but
with almost none of the maintenance.
WeatherBest Premium features reversible boards with a
random graining pattern on one side and roughsawn on the other. Available
in three new rich colors to choose from: Western Redwood, Driftwood
Grey and Pacific. You'll experience only minimal weathering of color
over time.

Endurance Structural Vinyl Railing
Endurance maintenance free railing systems offer all
the benefits of high quality custom vinyl railing coupled with superior
strength and ease of installation. The slight added cost of this product
is worth the difference.
All railing kits include a top vinyl extrusion with a interior aluminum
stiffener, a bottom vinyl extrusion with interior aluminum stiffener,
balusters, mounting brackets with integral locking screw cover caps
and stainless steel mounting screws. We stock 6', 8' and 10' square
baluster sections. Turned (colonial) sections are usually available
in about one week. We also stock the 8' square baluster stair railing
kits.
There are several newel post options to suit your installation needs.
Post caps are available in flat cap (4x4, 61/2"x 6-1/2"), New England
cap (4x4), Ball cap (4x4) and Gothic cap (4x4)
