A PICTURE FROM OUR PAST
When the Millersville Yard opened in 1975, it was prior to the construction of Interstate 97 and the parallel Veterans Highway. Then, in the place where it is now, the store and lumberyard was located in the median strip of Maryland Route 3, right between the northbound and southbound lanes. With all that traffic going by, Bill Johnson wanted to be sure everyone knew what we had for sale.
